"Lifeline" Rapid Evacuation Tape:
U.S. Patent #

"Lifeline" Rapid Evacuation Tape:
When disaster strikes and residents of a building are blinded by smoke, chemicals, physical injury or darkness, the Lifeline Rapid Evacuation Tape notifies people in an emergency of which direction they need to go in order to escape the building.
How does it do this?
With its Peel-and-Stick application, a person can feel the proper direction instantly because the tape feels smooth when touched in the proper direction -- and very abrasive when touched in the wrong direction. The Lifeline Rapid Evacuation Tape should be applied from the doorknob to light switch height.
Intended uses include any building with hallways, such as:
Multi-story public buildings
Apartments
Ships
Trains
Made entirely of plastic, the Lifeline Rapid Evacuation Tape can be combined with other visual tapes, such as "directions" signs.
